VFX Visual Effects Careers Event

As part of the school’s commitment to showcase Higher Education and careers in the creative and digital industries, students from Years 8-10 were given the opportunity to meet with a range of employers and businesses to find out more about the careers available.

The VFX Visual Effects Event took place on Monday 15th October 2018 at The Manchester College. It provided students with an opportunity to discover new and exciting careers that may not have previously entered their thoughts, They were able to learn about the range of creative and digital courses on offer at various Universities too.

TEMA students demonstrated lots of confidence in talking to a variety of businesses and took away a lot of information about the opportunities available to them.

Ms O’Donnell, Head of Careers, said:

There was an excellent range of companies at the event and it was a fantastic opportunity for our students to gain confidence in speaking with them and finding out about the job market and future opportunities.
