Easyrider Bus Tickets are Changing
To be able to continue to purchase an Easyrider ticket you will need to apply to TfGM for an igo card. If you then buy an Easyrider ticket, the driver will load it onto your igo card instead of giving you a ticket.
You will then need to validate your journey by touching the igo card onto the card reader each time you travel. The price and validity of the Easyrider ticket will remain the same.
From the age of 11 until 31 August after your 16th birthday, you can pay child fares on buses in Greater Manchester only if you hold an igo card.
If you do not hold an igo card you cannot purchase an Easyrider ticket. You will be asked to pay £2.00 for each journey you make on a Stagecoach (or £1.75 on a TfGM School bus) service.
