Young reporters from The East Manchester Academy have been shortlisted at the Aldridge UTC Film Festival.

Last week, our school hosted an incredible Future Focus Evening, welcoming over twenty sixth forms, colleges, apprenticeship providers, and employers to support our students in planning their next steps.
On Friday 7th November 2025, a group of 27 Year 8 students enjoyed an educational visit to Blackpool North to experience the Inspiration Train, a travelling exhibition designed to inspire young people to learn more about the rail industry.

As part of our Black History Month celebrations, 30 of our Year 8 students had the exciting opportunity to visit Autotrader’s head office in Manchester for a special event, in collaboration with Manchester Digital.
