Trip to the Manchester Central Library

A group of talented English and Humanities students from Year 8 and Year 9 visited the Manchester Central Library on Thursday 17th November 2016.

The purpose was to take a tour of the amazing state of the art facilities in the library, and then take part in the Into Film National Film Festival, by watching a screening of Hotel Rwanda. Our students were terrific ambassadors for the school, asking thought provoking questions about the film and sharing insightful opinions. It was so pleasing to hear them complain about having to leave the library, wanting to stay all afternoon to search the books, use the design facilities and use the musical instrument library!

Well done everyone!
