Common Ground – Year 11 BTEC Performing Arts Showcase ( Published: 12/05/2026)

As part of our school’s Diversity Festival, our Year 11 Performing Arts students presented Common Ground, an inspiring evening of drama and dance performances showcasing their examination pieces.

The event celebrated the creativity, talent and dedication of our students, who demonstrated months of hard work and artistic development in front of a live audience.

The performance evening brought together powerful storytelling, expressive movement and thought-provoking themes, giving students the opportunity to share their work in a professional performance setting. From emotionally charged drama pieces to dynamic dance performances, the showcase highlighted the confidence, collaboration and skill of our Year 11 cohort.

More than 100 parents and carers attended the event, creating a fantastic atmosphere of support and encouragement for the students. Their enthusiasm and applause reflected the impact and quality of the performances throughout the evening.

The students were absolutely amazing. Common Ground was a fantastic showcase of their examination work in both drama and dance, and it was wonderful to see over 100 parents and carers come together to support and celebrate their achievements. The professionalism, creativity and confidence shown by our students made it a truly memorable evening.
