May half term school holidays are fast approaching. MCRactive and Manchester City Council are offering hundreds of FREE places for children eligible for benefits related free school meals, and those with no recourse to public funds, to access a variety of activities over the May half term period.

Our Year 10 boys football team recently competed in and won the first Manchester United Foundation ‘Stay Safe’ football tournament, held at Stretford High School.
As a 'well done' for an exceptional season, the Year 8 boys football team were treated to a surprise visit to meet Manchester United’s U18’s squad, as they prepared for a Youth Cup final.
Eight of our Year 10 students completed the FA Playmakers award this term with the support of MU Foundation. The FA Playmaker is a prerequisite course for the FA Introduction to Football Coaching.
We are a member of the Education and Leadership Trust.
The Trust was founded in 2014 as a cooperative academy trust and the co-operative values of self-help, self-responsibility, democracy, equality, equity and solidarity continue to guide our Trust values of Excellence, Leadership and Teamwork.
