The East Manchester Academy was incredibly privileged to welcome Kerry Wolstenholme, who delivered a truly inspiring careers talk to our students.

Kerry’s session focused on the powerful message of overcoming obstacles to achieve your dreams, resonating deeply with our young people as she shared her own experiences and insights. Her candid and encouraging words provided a vital perspective on resilience and determination, demonstrating that challenges are simply stepping stones on the path to success. We are immensely grateful to Kerry for taking the time to share her journey and ignite such a sense of possibility within our student body.

Following her captivating careers talk, Kerry then led an interactive RSE (Relationships and Sex Education) session specifically designed for our entire Year 10 cohort. This session was remarkably insightful, offering a safe and engaging space for students to explore crucial topics related to relationships, respect, and personal well-being. Kerry’s sensitive and knowledgeable approach ensured that the session was not only informative, but also highly practical, equipping our students with valuable life skills that will undoubtedly serve them well in the future.

Kerry’s ability to connect with our students and deliver such impactful content truly made for an unforgettable day at The East Manchester Academy.
