TEMA Band ‘No Coloration’ Show Their Skills at Legendary Manchester Music Venue ( Published: 10/07/2026)

Five of our Year 10 students had the opportunity to show their skills on a professional stage, and blow away peers with their musical talent.

The five-piece band featuring Mariam (vocals/guitar), Alexander (vocals/guitar), Ibraheem (bass guitar), Meisa (piano) and Kieron (drums) showed their skills by playing three songs to an adoring audience of peers from other schools across Manchester. The set included an amazing rendition of Michael Jackson’s Human Nature, which led to large amounts of applause from the crowd.

The event was in partnership with our local music hub, One Education, who host the East Music centre. The East Music centre is designed to give students the opportunity to improve their skills within a number of sessions like, violin, woodwind, guitar and band enrichment, with each of the students in the band benefitting from these sessions in previous years.

The opportunity for my musicians to be able to show their skills is important. I am so lucky to be able to work with these students as they really are showing their skills to the wider world.
