Year 9 Pupils Shine at Comino Crafts Workshops ( Published: 22/06/2026)
The workshops provided pupils with the opportunity to develop new creative skills across a variety of disciplines, including:
- Woodwork – making and painting chopsticks
- Ceramics – creating clay portraits
- Photography – portrait photography
- Textiles – pillow embroidery
A special mention goes to Allen, who showed exceptional enthusiasm during the photography workshop by volunteering to assist with modelling and lighting.
The artists that lead the craft workshops, commented on how well-mannered and engaged the TEMA pupils always are. She also praised the enthusiasm and support shown by staff in helping pupils make the most of the opportunities provided.
We are extremely proud of all the pupils who took part and represented the school so positively. Their creativity, teamwork, and willingness to try new experiences made the day a great success.
