Students during a trip to Lancaster University in 2026

Year 8 Lancaster University Campus Visit ( Published: 01/07/2026)

A group of Year 8 students recently enjoyed an exciting visit to the Lancaster University campus, where they experienced a taste of university life.

During the day, they engaged with Linguistics and French sessions, explored the campus on a guided tour, and met current student ambassadors who shared their experiences and answered questions about studying at university. It was a fantastic opportunity for students to broaden their horizons and begin thinking about their future education and career pathways.

It was wonderful to see our students so engaged throughout the day. They asked thoughtful questions, embraced every opportunity, and came away with a much greater understanding of what university life has to offer. Visits like this help raise aspirations and encourage students to think positively about their future.
