The links below should be helpful for those of you who are hoping to find part time work over the summer. You can find a guide to writing you first CV above. A CV is something you will need to apply to many jobs.

It can be difficult getting a job aged 16 as many employers prefer all staff to be over 18 so be prepared to have to put in a lot of applications before you hear anything back.

This summer can also be a great time to do some volunteering or build your employability skills. This looks great on your CV or UCAS statement in the future and gives you experience which can help you to find paid work.
