AON Training Ground Visit

As a ‘well done’ for an exceptional season, the Year 8 boys football team were treated to a surprise visit to meet Manchester United’s U18’s squad, as they prepared for a Youth Cup final.

Our Year 8 squad, who also got to a cup final against Loreto High School back in May 2022, arrived at the Trafford Training Centre unaware that they would actually be taking part in 5 aside football matches with the Man Utd squad. To end a hugely successful afternoon, students were given the opportunity to take pictures and received some encouraging words of advice ahead of their final game this season.

It was nice to meet the United players and it was a good experience to be on the same pitch. I learnt a lot and they gave us advice on what we did well and what we could improve on.
