Metroline Engineers Inspire Students with Apprenticeship Careers Talk ( Published: 29/07/2025)

TEMA students recently had the opportunity to hear directly from professional engineers from Metroline, one of the UK’s leading public transport providers, during an engaging and informative careers talk on apprenticeships.

The session, held in one of Metroline’s double decker Bee Network buses, introduced students to the wide range of engineering and technical apprenticeships available within the transport industry. The visiting Metroline team shared their own career journeys, explained the day-to-day responsibilities of engineering roles, and highlighted the benefits of earning while learning through an apprenticeship.

The event was part of our ongoing commitment to providing students with meaningful encounters with employers and real-world career insights. Many thanks to Adam, Phil, Ben and the other volunteers from Metroline, for their time and for inspiring our students to consider exciting and practical pathways into engineering.
