Fighting Racism, Standing up Against Hate: #Leon110 Competition

Published: 27/01/2021

As part of the school’s commitment to commemorate the Holocaust Memorial Day, we are running a competition for all students to finish Leon’s Poem.

Each year will have its own competition, which students can access via Google Classroom. You can read about Leon and how he stood up for those who were subjected to racism, discrimination and injustice. The competition is a response stanza, which can take whatever form the student decides – acrostic, haiku, free verse, sonnets – but should not be more 14 lines.

The competition will close on the 1st of February 2021.
