The event took place on Wednesday 15th May 2019 at the University of Manchester. It provided students with an opportunity to learn about the differences between school and University, and the benefits of going to University. They also took part in a campus tour and interactive workshops related to various subjects available to study.

Ms O’Donnell, Head of Careers, said:

Today’s event allowed the students to have a taste of higher education and visit a University for the first time. They found out what it could be like to study at University and what their options might be in the future.

It was a pretty fun experience as we got to do lots of activities. I also learnt that there are lots of different subjects you can study at University.
