Year 7 students investigated a mock crime scene (an aggregated burglary) and used forensic science to find the perpetrator.

In our commitment to raise attainment, improve progress and engage our young people, we invited Sci-High in to work with a selection of forty Year 7 pupils. They took part in a whole day of investigation to find the perpetrator of a crime through forensic science activities and role play.

Not only did the pupils have a great day but they learned just how broad Science can be and how many transferable skills the subject can provide.

I thought the students contributed very well to the events with energy, good practical work, and lots of ideas. I was struck by the professionalism and innovation at the academy and I really enjoyed the visit.
