‘Ways to Wellbeing’ at University of Salford ( Published: 07/05/2025)

As part of our commitment to promoting higher education pathways, Year 10 students visited the University of Salford.

As part of our participation in the GM Higher programme, Year 10 students visited the University of Salford to learn more about routes into higher education. The focus of the day was ‘Ways to Wellbeing’, discussing support available for students at university as well as a session on managing stress by Manchester Mind. Students had the opportunity to tour the Peel Park campus and to see the work completed by students in the Science, Environment and Engineering faculty.

I’d honestly not thought about going to university before today but now I really would like to go in the future.
Salmata, Year 10 student

I really enjoyed seeing the university campus. This would be a nice place to study.
Malak, Year 10 student
