Celebrating Black History and Culture

In term one, students celebrated Black History Month with their creative responses to the theme ‘Black history is all our history’. The quality of responses from students was exceptional. Entries were put forward as part of our first inter house competition and judged by Miss Bowen (Academy Headteacher) and four judges from our local community partners.

We are very proud of both the phenomenal creative talent of our students and their ability to reflect on and represent complex political themes.
