Personal Development Information Evening 2021

Personal Development Information Evening 2021 ( Published: 08/11/2021)

The evening took place on Thursday 4th November 2021 and was a huge success. We’ve made a digital copy of the slides available here on our website, so you can look back on the information that was presented.

Thank you to all of the parents/carers who attended. We had a fantastic turnout and hope you found the evening useful. Please find the presentation slides from the evening attached above for you to look back on.

The evening was designed to give parents/carers the opportunity to engage in discussion with teachers about what their child is currently learning in their Personal Development lessons, and develop their understanding of how to keep their child safe online. A takeaway handbook was made available and there was an opportunity to meet other parents and carers.

Our ambition is to ensure that our students leave our academy prepared for life in modern Britain. As a school we understand the importance of working in partnership with parents to ensure that our actions are as impactful as possible. It was a pleasure to have such an engaged and positive audience. We are delighted that 100% of parents surveyed said that their understanding of the personal development curriculum and online safety had improved as a result of the session, and 100% said that they would recommend the workshop to a fellow parent. We look forward to welcoming parents to our next personal development evening in the New Year.
