Supporting Student Wellbeing: Yoga Intervention Sessions ( Published: 25/06/2025)

As part of our ongoing commitment to student wellbeing, a group of students from across all year groups recently took part in a series of Yoga Intervention sessions designed to support their mental and physical health.

The sessions provided a calm, structured space for students to focus on mindfulness, movement, and emotional regulation.

Led by a qualified yoga instructor, each session combined gentle physical postures with breathing exercises and relaxation techniques. The goal was to help students develop tools to manage stress, improve concentration, and build self-awareness – all within a supportive and non-judgmental environment.

The feedback from students has been overwhelmingly positive. Many reported feeling more relaxed, focused, and better equipped to handle challenges both inside and outside the classroom. These sessions have not only supported their personal development but have also contributed to a calmer and more focused learning environment.

We are proud to offer interventions like this as part of our broader approach to pastoral care, ensuring that every student has access to strategies that support their wellbeing and resilience.
